COURSE REGISTRATION RULES
- To be accepted as a bona fide student eligible to attend lectures and take examinations the student must duly register within the appropriate period for all the courses at the beginning of each semester.
- Any student who fails to register within the specified time period will be allowed late registration with penalty. This concession is for a period of two (2) weeks only.
- Any change or alteration in the student's course registration form after it has been duly signed cannot be accepted without the consent of the Coordinator of the Programme. Such a change, either by way of addition, deletion or substitution, must be carried out on specially prescribed forms and within the first four weeks of the semester.
- Any student who takes examination in a course he/she has not registered for will have the result of such an examination declared null and void.
STUDENT WORKLOAD
- A student will be required to register for courses up to minimum of 18 units per semester.
- A total minimum workload of 36 units in both Harmattan and Rain semesters is required of every student.
- A minimum of 48 credit units in the core/compulsory courses is required for graduation.
- A minimum of 18 credit units in the electives courses in the various areas of specialization is required for graduation.
- A successfully defended Research Project of 6 credit units is required for graduation
